LANOUE, Michael
It’s with a heavy heart but full with his love that we announce the passing of Michael Lanoue (née Svarckopf) March 5 2024 at the age of 92. He was a loving husband to late Aurella (née Lacharité, 2016); dear father to Robert (Anna) and Marie (François Poulin); loving grand-father to Dana Barrette (Denis), Melissa Farrand (Brandon) and Jason Lanoue (Natalie Snyder), and to Cléo Lanoue Poulin and Josée Lanoue Poulin (Matthew Beanish); greatgrandfather to Camomille, Louis, Owen, Gia, Zachary, Élizabeth and Amélia. He was the son of late Peter and Maria Svarckopf and of late Otto and Blanche Lanoue; the brother to late Mariska Svarckopf, late Marguerite Stpierre (late Whitey), late Gérard (Ilene) and brother in-law to late Maurice Lacharité and Gérard Lacharité (late Angeline). A resident of Stoney-point almost all his life, he was well known for his flower gardens that beautified the village. Exercise and walking were key parts of his life and he encouraged everyone to get moving. He was an early adopter of computers and loved writing comments to his Facebook friends. His zest for life and positive attitude will stay with us forever. The family will be receiving condolences at Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St. Belle-river 519728-1500) from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday March 8 and at St-simon & Stjude Church in Belle-river starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday March 9 till the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Internment will follow mass at the Annunciation Cemetery in Stoney-point. The family would like to thank the personnel at The Village of Aspen Lake, The Windsor Regional Hospital (Metropolitan), Seasons Belle River, doctors Owen and Deklaj as well as family and friends who have shown so much compassion. Il était l’époux dévoué de feu Aurella (née Lacharité, 2016); cher père de Robert (Anna) et de Marie (François Poulin); grand-papa chéri de Dana Barrette (Denis), Melissa Farrand (Brandon) et Jason Lanoue (Natalie Snyder), ainsi que de Cléo Lanoue Poulin et Josée Lanoue Poulin (Matthew Beanish); arrière-grand-papa de Camomille, Louis, Owen, Gia, Zachary, Élizabeth et Amélia. Il était le fils de feu Peter et Maria Svarckopf et de feu Otto et Blanche Lanoue; le frère de feu Mariska Svarckopf, feu Marguerite Stpierre (feu Whitey), feu Gérard (Ilene) et beau-frère de feu Maurice Lacharité et de Gérard Lacharité (feu Angeline). Il a vécu à Pointe-auxroches presque toute sa vie oùses jardins ornementaux ont agrémenté le village. L’exercice et la marche faisaient partie intégrante de sa vie et il nous encourageait tous à bouger un peu plus. Il a suivi la nouvelle technologie en étant un des premiers à adopter l’ordinateur. Il adorait ajouter ses commentaires sur Facebook pour le grand plaisir de tous. Son appétit pour la vie et son attitude positive resteront gravés dans nos mémoires. La famille recevra les condoléances au Salon funéraire Melady (572 Notre Dame, Belle-rivière 519-728-1500) de 17h à 20h le 8 mars et à l’église St-simon & St-jude à partir de 9h30 jusqu’à la messe funérailles à 10h30 le 9 mars. L’inhumation aura lieu après la messe au cimetière de l’annonciation à Pointe-aux-roches. La famille voudrait remercier le personnel au Village of Aspen Lake, à l’hôpital Régional de Windsor (Métropolitain), à Seasons Belle-rivière, les docteurs Owen et Deklaj, ainsi que les amis et la famille qui ont démontré tant de compassion.
