PATTISON, Gary Anthony

Gary was born in Windsor Ontario, on October 10th 1939, to Clifton Caryle and Jennie Elsie Pattison.

He married the love of his life and best friend, Sharon Diane on June 29th 1963 and was a beloved and devoted husband for over 60 years.

Gary was a loving, inspirational and devoted father to Kelly Anne, Karen Aileen, Mark Anthony (m, Jennifer Lynn) and Colleen Edith.

Gary was a cherished Grandpa to Joshua (m, Anna), Melissa (m, Jason), Laura, Kiara, Kalyna, Emily, Jessica, Briar, and Cullen and a treasured Great Grandpa to Adam, Hamza and Leo.

Gary was the little brother to Clifton (Margie) and Patricia (Doug). Predeceased by his parents, Clifton, Jennie and his big brother Morley (Ayse).

Gary worked for the City of Windsor as an Occupational Health and Safety Officer.

Gary and Sharon were world travelers, there is not many places on this earth that they had not left their mark.

Gary loved making people smile and happy. He was an incredible teller of improvised bedtime stories and jokes. When about to tell a 'story' or joke, despite his serious facial expression, the white lines that appeared on his nose would always give him away, each and every time!

Dad opened the world of imagination to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. There was no age limit to his stories.

Dad's creations from within his workshop world (and did include a 'kitchen sink') and his artistic talents, proved to inspire and pass along to his children and their children.

We all know Gary could fix anything!

Gary will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

As per Gary's wishes, viewing followed by cremation will be held from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM on 202–-03-11 at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 1525 Hwy 3 Oldcastle ON N0R 1L0.
