Who is An­thony Rapp?

AN­THONY Rapp came for­ward Sun­day night to say fel­low ac­tor Kevin Spacey pushed him on a bed and climbed on top of him dur­ing a party at the fu­ture Academy Award win­ner’s apart­ment. Rapp, then 14, got away be­fore the en­counter went any fur­ther.

But who is Rapp?

The ac­tor, who just turned 46, can cur­rently be seen in Star Trek: Dis­cov­ery as Lt. Paul Stamets, which is shown on Space and streamed on CraveTV in Canada.

The Illi­nois na­tive has an ex­ten­sive the­atre back­ground, hav­ing orig­i­nated the role of Mark Co­hen in the hit Broad­way mu­si­cal Rent.

He re­turned to the part for the 2005 movie adap­ta­tion and sub­se­quent 2009 tour.

He also played the ti­tle role in the 1999 Broad­way re­vival of You’re a Good Man, Char­lie Brown and was in the orig­i­nal 2014 Broad­way cast of If/Then.

Rapp’s film roles in­clude Dazed and Con­fused (1993), and A Beau­ti­ful Mind (2001).

Among his re­cent TV cred­its: The Knick and The Good Fight.
