Jennifer Aniston is doing just fine on her own, in fact, in her recent interview with ELLE, the actress admitted that she chose to be single in order to ensure her own happiness.

“My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in (my) personal opinion,” said the Dumplin’ star, speaking of her failed relationships with actors Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux.

“And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn’t exist within that arrangement anymore,” she added.

Aniston, 49, was married to Pitt, 54, from 2000 to 20005, when he left her for Mr. And Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie. After going through a very public heartbreak, the actress found love again with Theroux, 47, though after just two years of marriage, the two called it quits in 2017.

Nearing 50, Aniston is already dating again, and still hasn’t given up on the prospect of expanding her family.

“Who knows what the future holds in terms of a child and a partnership – how that child comes in… or doesn’t?” the actress told the magazine. “And now with science and miracles, we can do things at different times than we used to be able to.”
