Scors­ese read­ies new Dy­lan doc

Martin Scors­ese is set to re­lease a new con­cert doc­u­men­tary chron­i­cling

Bob Dy­lan’s Rolling Thun­der Re­vue tour in the mid-1970s.

The vet­eran film­maker will re­visit the show, which ran from 1975 to 1976, in the up­com­ing Rolling Thun­der Re­vue: A Bob Dy­lan Story. The Net­flix project will fea­ture ap­pear­ances from Joan Baez, T-bone Bur­nett, Mick Ron­son, and sev­eral other artists.

Rep­re­sen­ta­tives for the stream­ing plat­form have de­scribed the film as “part doc­u­men­tary, part con­cert film, part fever dream”, while re­veal­ing ex­clu­sive in­ter­views with Dy­lan will be part of the film. Scors­ese’s pre­vi­ously high­lighted the iconic mu­si­cian’s ca­reer in the 2005 doc­u­men­tary No Di­rec­tion Home. He also di­rected the clas­sic 1987 con­cert film The Last Waltz, which fea­tures Dy­lan.
