A veteran policy and politics journalist, senior editor Peter Muggeridge has dissected the platforms and analyzed the plays for our vote in “The Zoomer Primary” (pg. 41) that anchors this Special Election Issue. A keen observer of the American state of play, he shares his perspective in “The Elephant and the Mouse” (pg. 10).

From craft beer branding to party leader portrayals as seen in “The Zoomer Primary” (pg. 41), Dominic Bugatto’s work is unique and impactful with his illustrations appearing in the New York Times, Vanity Fair and the Washington Post, among others. Also a photographer, a series of his images were recently added to the Library and Archives Canada.

Mark Veldhoven has been crafting and colour-correcting images for book and magazine publishers, advertising and creative agencies for more than 30 years. He’s been perfecting our covers since the very first issue. For this one, he employs his award-winning graphic finishing skills for a Canadian re-imagining of Mount Rushmore.
