WORK FROM HOME – BUT ALSO FROM AN ISLAND
Barbados may be the birthplace of rum – the Mount Gay distillery has been in operation since
1703 – but it’s also known as the Land of the Flying Fish. Try it at Oistins, the outdoor fish fry and market every Friday night.
Barbados (as well as
Bahamas, Bermuda, and a few others) has also created a Work From Island visa, facilitating work-from-home – so to speak – longer stays. There’s an application process and a cost, naturally, as there’s no such thing as a free lunch. And a beach-side lunch may just be a lunch worth paying for.
