is a photographer, filmmaker, climber, with a formal background in biology, ecology and geology. As the director of the Alpine of the Americas Project he has combined these skills to collect inspiring visual evidence of climate change, provide important data for scientists, and engage people in seeing for themselves the impacts of climate change on shared resources.

is a marine biologist and scientific diver who has dived extensively throughout Patagonia as a field technician for Fundación Huinay on their scientific expeditions. Katie was present during the initial discoveries of the dead whales, and has since returned on three follow-up investigatory cruises with the sailboat Saoirse. She now works with Saoirse and surfs out of her van, Gloria.

es una bióloga marina y buzo científica. Ha buceado ampliamente en toda la Patagonia como técnica de campo en las expediciones científicas de la Fundación Huinay. is a photographer and documentary filmmaker from the Araucania region in southern Chile. Much of his work focuses on volcanoes, lakes and forests. He says he has found a love for communicating with visual language through slide shows, and documentaries such as the TV series “Al Sur del Mundo.” The arrival of digital formats also sparked new interest from Gedda in still photography.
