Jim Wil­liams stud­ied moun­tain lion ecol­ogy for his master’s de­gree at Mon­tana State Univer­sity, and for the past 25 years has been a wildlife pro­gram man­ager for the Mon­tana Depart­ment of Fish, Wildlife and Parks. The past two decades he has also col­lab­o­rated with bi­ol­o­gists in Chile and Ar­gentina on di­verse wildlife con­ser­va­tion projects. His book Path of the Puma: The Re­mark­able Re­silience of the Moun­tain Lion is set for re­lease in Oc­to­ber 2018. Jim Wil­liams es­tudió la ecología del león de mon­taña para su maestría en la Univer­si­dad Es­tatal de Mon­tana, y du­rante los úl­ti­mos 25 años ha sido ger­ente del pro­grama de vida sil­vestre para el Depar­ta­mento de Pesca, Vida Sil­vestre y Par­ques de Mon­tana. Las úl­ti­mas dos dé­cadas tam­bién ha co­lab­o­rado con biól­o­gos en Chile y Ar­gentina en di­ver­sos proyec­tos de con­ser­vación de vida sil­vestre. Su li­bro Path of the Puma: The Re­mark­able Re­silience of the Moun­tain Lion se lan­zará en oc­tubre de 2018.
