A for­mer deputy editor of Patagon Jour­nal and re­porter for El Mer­cu­rio, Ig­na­cio Palma is an out­doors en­thu­si­ast who has done bike tour­ing in New Zealand and the Car­retera Aus­tral, back­pack­ing on nu­mer­ous trails in Tas­ma­nia and Patag­o­nia, snow­board­ing in the Rocky Moun­tains, kayak­ing in the Ay­sen fjords, and moun­taineer­ing at the South­ern Patag­o­nia Ice Fields. Mer­cu­rio, Ig­na­cio Palma es un en­tu­si­asta de la nat­u­raleza que ha recor­rido en bi­ci­cleta Nueva Ze­landa y la Car­retera Aus­tral, ha cam­i­nado por di­ver­sos senderos de Tas­ma­nia y la Patag­o­nia, ha he­cho snow­board en las Rocky Moun­tains, kayak en los fior­dos de Aysén y mon­tañismo en el Campo de Hielo Sur. Hoy está rad­i­cado en el pueblo más aus­tral del mundo, Puerto Wil­liams.
