TARSICIO ANTEZANA

Tarsicio Antezana was an oceanography professor at both the University of Chile and University of Concepcion for more than 50 years. After retiring, he now divides his time between Chiloe, where he leads the local citizen group Association for Defense of Environment and Culture, and California where he is a visiting researcher at Scripps Institution at UC San Diego and the Interamerican Tropical Tuna Commission.
