JAIMEMCINTYRE

A retired ship captain, Jaime Mcintyre has extensive experience sailing through the Strait of Magellan. He worked 32 years for the Chilean Navy and since his retirement in 2018 he continues to guide ships and boats through the Patagonian fjords and channels or the Strait of Magellan. To date, he has directed 53 ships through these waters, from small fishing vessels to large passenger cruises.

Un capitán de navío en retiro, Jaime Mcintyre tiene una larga experiencia navegando por el Estrecho de Magallanes. Trabajó 32 años para la Armada de Chile y desde su retiro en 2018 continúa asesorando la navegación de las embarcaciones que transitan por los canales de la Patagonia o el Estrecho de Magallanes. Hasta la fecha, son 53 naves las que ha dirigido por estas aguas, desde pequeños buques pesqueros, hasta grandes cruceros.
