Design Research on Lithium Battery Management System for Electric Vehicle Based on Active Balance Strategy

To improve the consistency of lithium battery cells of electric vehicle and increase the utilization rate of【Abstract】battery energy, battery energy needs to be balanced in battery cells and module. Based on the research of active balance strategy for power battery pack, a simulation model of battery balance system was constructed, and the relationship between the battery energy, balance time and Flyback DC converter was obtained, an experiment platform was set up according to result of simulation analysis to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the program. Verification shows that the designed power battery balance management system can real- time monitor the battery cell and achieve the programmable active balance for the battery energy, and good balance effect can be achieved.
