State Key ( Laboratory of Comprehens­ive Technology on Automobile Vibration and Noise & Safety Control, Changchun 130013) Abstract In order to calculate the dynamic parking engagement speed and the impact load accurately and quickly,【 】improve the safety of the parking mechanism, software ADAMS and MATLAB/Simulink are used to establish a parking mechanism dynamic simulation model and a vehicle powertrain simulation model containing parking mechanism. Based on the parking engagement speed from ADAMS model and the impact load from Simulink model, the static strength of the parking mechanism under dynamic condition is checked. After the completion of the vehicle dynamic test, the parking mechanism operates normally and does not fail, the effectiven­ess of the method is verified.
