On November 11, Tocando Portugal will be held at the Mong Man Wai Concert Hall at Tsinghua University in Beijing.

Tocando Portugal is a trio concert that accompanies films. The trio is composed of clarinetist Luís Gomes, pianist João Vasco and violinist Anne Victorino D'almeida. They perform in conjunction with screenings of films about the culture, history and landscapes of Portugal, the music matching the content of the films. There are also people from around Portugal who talk about the country's culture, history and its citizens' lives on camera. This innovative performing style presents traditional music from 10 regions of Portugal and blends it with videos about local culture and natural heritage.

Tocando Portugal has been performed in Portugal, Brazil, Germany, France, Namibia, South Africa, the United States, Cuba, Switzerland, Tunisia, Cape Verde and Shanghai in China. The upcoming performance will present the beauty and customs of Portugal to Chinese audiences in Beijing.
