World's best to com­pete in Badminton Asia Cham­pi­onships

The 2018 Badminton Asia Cham­pi­onships will be held at the Wuhan Sports Center be­tween April 24 and 29. Ac­cord­ing to the re­quire­ments of the event, the top 10 rank­ing play­ers in Asia in the men's sin­gles, the women's sin­gles, the men's dou­bles, the women's dou­bles and the mixed dou­bles are re­quired to par­tic­i­pate in the com­pe­ti­tion.

As of now, Chen Long, Shi Yuqi, and Lin Dan from China, the well­known player Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia, Srikanth from In­dia, Son Wan Ho from the Repub­lic of Korea, Chou Tien Chen from Taipei, China, Ng Ka Long An­gus from Hong Kong, China, and An­thony Gint­ing from In­done­sia, are all among the world's top 10 play­ers.

Ac­cord­ing to the rank­ings, the top ten women's sin­gles play­ers in Asia are Tai Tzu-ying (Taipei, China), Akane Ya­m­aguchi ( Ja­pan), Ratchanok In­tanon ( Thai­land), P. V. Sindhu (In­dia), Sung Ji-hyun ( The Repub­lic of Korea), Okuhara No­zomi ( Ja­pan), Chen Yufei ( China), He Bingjiao (China), Saina Ne­hwal (In­dia), and Nitchaon Jin­dapon ( Thai­land).
