Kite-flying to go sky high at Mulan Grassland

Changjiang Weekly - - SOCIETY -

The 2018 Wuhan Mulan Grassland International Kite Tournament will be held from April 13 through 17. Presently over 25 kite teams have registered for the event, including two local teams.

The tournament consists of four events: a team-ballet kite competition, a soft-kite competition, a giant round kite competition, and a lighting kite competition. Between kite masters, it is not just a matchof whose kite flies the highest or longest in the air, but a contest on modeling, ingenuity, and best visual effect. All the contestants pay special attention to the creative design and manufacturing of their kites to the benefit of adoring audiences.
