Projects worth RMB 8 bil­lion with Ja­pan and R.O.K

Wuhan has just signed agree­ments for 19 projects with a to­tal value of RMB 7.992 bil­lion with cities of Ja­pan and the Repub­lic of Korea. An­other 35 ma­jor projects with a to­tal in­vest­ment of RMB 214.72 bil­lion are be­ing pushed for­ward.

This was the re­sult of a Wuhan gov­ern­ment del­e­ga­tion's visit of the two coun­tries from March 25 to April 1.The projects in­volve the fields of in­dus­trial man­u­fac­tur­ing, busi­ness in­vest­ment, and trade.

During their visit, the del­e­ga­tion held a con­fer­ence with Ja­panese en­ter­prises in Tokyo, a busi­ness and in­vest­ment pro­mo­tion con­fer­ence in Seoul, an eco­nomic and trade pro­mo­tion con­fer­ence in Oita, and an in­vest­ment and trade con­fer­ence in Cheongju.The del­e­ga­tion also held cer­e­monies en­ti­tling the Hubei Cham­ber of Com­merce in Ja­pan and Dongseo Univer­sity to

set up the Wuhan Alumni As­so­ci­a­tion (Tokyo) Ser­vice Sta­tion and the Wuhan Alumni As­so­ci­a­tion (Bu­san) Ser­vice Sta­tion.

The del­e­ga­tion also vis­ited the head­quar­ters of some For­tune 500 com­pa­nies in the two coun­tries like the Aeon Group, Mizuho Group, SK Group, Sam­sung Group, and Doosan Group.The city of Oita is Wuhan's first sis­ter city, and the year of 2019 will mark the 40th an­niver­sary of the two cities' friend­ship.The cities of Cheongju and Wuhan have been sis­ter cities for 18 years.
