Di­rect flight to Mau­ri­tius to start in Au­gust

A di­rect flight be­tween Wuhan and Mau­ri­tius will be­gin on Au­gust 11, ac­cord­ing to a press con­fer­ence held on July20 for the of­fi­cial launch­ing.

A five-year ex­clu­sive char­tered flight con­tract has been signed be­tween Hang Lv Group and Air Mau­ri­tius. The flight, uti­liz­ing an Air­bus A340 air­craft and op­er­ated by Air Mau­ri­tius, will fly once a week with a flight time of about 11 hours. Out­bound flights will de­part from Wuhan Tianhe In­ter­na­tional Air­port at 1:05 a.m. and ar­rive in Mau­ri­tius at 7:40 a.m. lo­cal time. The re­turn flights will de­part at 8:15 a.m. lo­cal time and ar­rive in Wuhan at 11:05 p.m.

Pas­sen­gers trav­el­ing to Mau­ri­tius from Wuhan pre­vi­ously had to trans­fer in Shanghai or Chengdu, mak­ing the to­tal travel time about 20 hours.

Ac­cord­ing to Hang Lv Group, there is a three-month pro­mo­tion with dis­counted tick­ets start­ing from RMB 4,000.
