Wuhan-Belgium cargo air route opens
A Belgium-bound all-cargo flight took off from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport on July 20. After Chicago and Luxembourg, this is the third intercontinental all-cargo air route starting from Wuhan.
The flight, which utilizes a Boeing 747-400 and is operated by Uni-top Airlines, takes off three times a week and delivers up to 2,000 tons monthly to Liege. The virgin two-way flight was nearly fully loaded with imports like auto parts from Germany and the U.K. and exports like electronic products, garments and accessories.
Liege Airport is the largest cargo airport in Belgium and an important air freight hub in Europe.
