2018 In­ter­na­tional Fin­ger-style Gui­tar Fes­ti­val

The 2018 In­ter­na­tional Fin­ger-style Gui­tar Fes­ti­val (IFSGF) will fea­ture four top gui­tar play­ers — Huang Chia-wei from the Tai­wan re­gion, An­dres Godoy from Chile, Kanaho from Ja­pan and Tom Lu­men from Hun­gary.

Huang's gui­tar per­for­mances com­bine both Chi­nese mu­si­cal style and West­ern play­ing skills; Leg­endary mu­si­cian Godoy is dis­tin­guished for his Tatap tech­nique that uses only one hand to knock, sweep, and pick the chords to pro­duce mu­sic on the gui­tar; Kanaho, an emerg­ing gui­tar star, is known for her sooth­ing mu­sic; and Lu­men isan ex­pe­ri­enced fin­ger­style artist known for his pas­sion­ate per­for­mance.
