On Au­gust 26, es­ports kicked off its Asian Games

2018 jour­ney as a de­mon­stra­tion sport at a glit­ter­ing cer­e­mony with over

150 gamers — in­clud­ing the team from China — from 18 dif­fer­ent coun­tries, tus­sling for supremacy in an elec­tri­fy­ing at­mos­phere.

In the game of Arena of Valor, China won the first place. It at­tracted much at­ten­tion from lo­cals and Chi­nese es­ports en­thu­si­asts.

The Asian Es­ports Fed­er­a­tion has con­firmed which games will be fea­tured at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, In­done­sia. The games se­lected are League of Leg­ends, Hearth­stone, Star­craft II, Pro Evo­lu­tion Soc­cer, Clash Royale, and Arena of Valor.

Last year, the Olympic Coun­cil of Asia an­nounced a part­ner­ship with Alisports, the sport­ing sub­sidiary of Chi­nese e-commerce gi­ant Alibaba, to add es­ports events to the 2018 and 2022 Asian Games.
