Wuhan In­ter­na­tional Pho­tog­ra­phy Con­test starts so­lic­it­ing pho­to­graphs

The Wuhan In­ter­na­tional Pho­tog­ra­phy Con­test was launched on Septem­ber 6.

Co-hosted by Wuhan In­ter­na­tional Plaza, the Hubei Pho­tog­ra­phers As­so­ci­a­tion, Wuhan News Pho­tog­ra­phy As­so­ci­a­tion, and Changjiang Daily, the con­test sets no limit on themes or styles. Al­to­gether 1,000 pho­tos will be so­licited from shut­ter­bugs. The so­lic­it­ing pe­riod will last un­til Septem­ber 24. Top win­ners will get prizes worth RMB 8,000.

In­ter­ested read­ers can lo­gin onto http://www.cjphoto.org, and up­load pho­to­graphs in the sec­tion of "Cap­tur­ing the in­stances, mov­ing the world" un­der "Ac­tiv­i­ties."

Sub­mit­ted works can be in black-and-white or color. Only slight ad­just­ments in light and shade, color­ing, de­gree of sat­u­ra­tion and sharp­ness are al­lowed. Works that have won awards in other con­tests will not be ac­cepted.

A pho­tog­ra­phy ex­hi­bi­tion of the con­test and award cer­e­mony will be held in late Septem­ber.
