300-me­ter-tall tower

The 300-me­ter-tall Shen­ji­aji Riverview Tower will serve as a land­mark to show­case the new im­age of Changjiang New Town. The ur­ban de­sign of Shen­ji­aji, along with the fu­ture de­vel­op­ment projects, will es­tab­lish a sky­line with its own char­ac­ter­is­tics.

El­e­vated park

The sec­tion of Wuhan-Ying­shan Ex­press­way in the start­ing area will be de­mol­ished and re­built in order to con­struct a pleas­ant net­work of walk­ways.

The Xinhe Bridge and some of its ramps will be in­te­grated into a park where el­e­vated land­scape cor­ri­dors con­nect the ar­eas of Shen­ji­aji and Wuhu.

Con­ve­nient pub­lic trans­port sys­tem

The start­ing area will meet the fu­ture de­vel­op­ment of mul­ti­ple trans­porta­tion sys­tems.

In the lay­out, spa­ces are re­served for low-al­ti­tude gen­eral avi­a­tion such as com­mer­cial he­li­copters and drones.

To meet the smart city's re­quire­ments, the start­ing area will serve as a pi­lot demon­stra­tion area for un­manned driv­ing. As for the wa­ter­way, ferry wharves will en­able ships to tra­verse the Fuhe and Yangtze rivers. The two main metro trans­fer sta­tions of Shen­ji­aji and Wuhu will of­fer a seam­less trans­fer sys­tem both above and be­low ground. There will also be bus stops ev­ery 500 me­ters across the start­ing area.
