To celebrate the Chinese National Day, a light show called Dream Wuhan lit up the banks of the Yangtze River on September 30. Changjiang Weekly had the pleasure of inviting readers to see the scene from aboard the Zhiyin Cruise.

The light show went on each night from Oct. 2 to 7, and included animation works from around the world. It was one of the big projects the Wuhan Tourism Development Investment Group organized for the holiday week.

The twelve readers from six countries observed the colorful Wuhan skyline from the top deck of the cruise ship. They took pictures and captured the beautiful night views of the river city. "It's amazing. The lights make the buildings, rivers and trees more colorful and active," praised Paul Hass, an American reader from the U.S., "The light show is very technical and international. Wuhan is more and more internationalized."

Changjiang Weekly will continue to hold regular events; keep an eye on our WeChat feed and newspaper articles to sign up.
