The Intelligent Development of Logistics Industry and the Improvement of Its Performance
——An Empirical Test based on WIOD Data and Regression Model LI Ya-ya1，WANG Lei2 and PENG Yong-tao3

The transformation from traditional logistics to modern logistics takes Internet + logistics as the characteristic，which essentially reflects the convergence and infiltration of information industry into logistics industry. Based on the world input-output data（WIOD）and KPWW methods，the authors reveal the level of convergence of China's information and logistics industry from an industrial perspective and examine the effect of industrial output on it. The research shows that the convergence degree of information industry and logistics industry is deepening；the information service industry has a significant positive impact on the performance of China's logistics industry；the influence of the information manufacturing industry is not significant；the impact of the two departments on the logistics industry convergence and infiltration did not form a synergistic effect；there is heterogeneity in the convergence performance of logistics industry under different classifications，the convergence of transportation，postal and express delivery industry and information play an active role in logistics performance，and the convergence effect of the warehousing industry need to be further enhanced. So to better promote the upgrade of China’s traditional industries and the intelligent development of logistics industry，we should，first，fully understand the role of information and communication technology development in the upgrade of such traditional industries as logistics，promote the convergence and cross-boundary development，and promote the transformation and upgrade of traditional industries；second，we should further strengthen the application of products of information manufacturing industry to logistics industry based on the convergence and infiltration of information communication service technology；and third，we should further improve the level of the intelligent development warehousing industry，and improve the productivity and performance of logistics industry.
