Research on Container Sharing Model Based on Blockchain

Abstract：Blockchain provides us with new way of thinking to promote the further development of container sharing. Because of the characteristics of decentralization，transparency，auto implementation of contract，and traceability，container sharing model based on blockchain can help us to effectively solve problems with container sharing，and form a new model of container sharing. Blockchain based container sharing model uses smart contract to ensure container transport process and payment，provides different clients with different authority to protect business secret，and form the peer-to-peer sharing model； and with the separation of container and carriers，it can provide the container users with more freedom in choosing containers and carriers and reduce the cost of transportation；shipping companies will impose less constraints on container users，have less control on containers，and attract more clients with high quality service. By establishing the single port container transportation system，the research shows that，the blockchain based container sharing system can be optimized from such aspects as transportation efficiency，information transfer，and management pattern.
