Abstract:“New Retail”has shown an irresistible tendency to reshape the retail industry. It has obvious characteristics of theory research led by practice. In general,there are many practical explorations,and the theoretical research is relatively insufficient. From the overall situation,“New Retail”has a high degree of social attention,but high- level research results are still scarce,and research teams and research bases are also in urgent need of construction. In general,literatures of core journals such as China Business and Market and industry research reports are important references for scholars to track the research. From the research content,it mainly focuses on basic theoretical aspects such as interpretation of connotation and characteristics, analysis of causes of development,development path and development trends. In general,it has become a consensus to return to the essence of retail services centering on consumers,improve retail efficiency by relying on data and technology,and drive the reform of supply chain. The theoretical research and practical development of“New Retail”have also become clear.“New Retail” shows the trend of scale,unbounded and intelligent development,and will drive the transformation and reconstruction of supply chain by reverse. Combining characteristics and development trends of“New Retail”,the online and offline deep integration research,the new logistics research under“New Retail”,“New Retail”driving supply chain transformation and reconstruction research are important research directions that need to be expanded.
