Research on High Quality Development of China's Logistics Industry Driven by Technological Innovation
Abstract:China's modern logistics industry has gone through a long growth period,and it is about to enter a mature period, which is also a critical stage of transformation,quality improvement,and efficiency enhancement. Based on the analysis of the development speed,demand,cost structure and operation quality of China's logistics industry,the author finds that such external elements as industrial restructuring,changes in development pattern,the construction of smart supply chain system,and consumption upgrading is continuously promoting the improvement of logistic quality;while the diminishing demographic dividend,the low organizational degree of road freight,the imbalanced structure of storage infrastructure,and not coordinated international operation of storage and transportation is hindering the high quality development of logistics industry;and technological innovation will play its leading role in promoting the development of China’s logistics industry. Since 2011,the growth rate of China's logistics industry has slowed down obviously,but this period is also a concentrated outbreak of logistics technology innovation. Empirical analysis based on the state space model shows that the improvement of logistics technological innovation ability after 2011 contributes significantly to the improvement of logistics operation quality. To better promote the high quality development of China’s logistics industry,we should,first,further strengthen the capability for information processing, and construct the connective and sharing system of logistic information;second,we should strengthen the manufacturing of smart equipment,and pay more attention to the development of logistic robot;third,we should promote the connectivity of tools and equipment,and improve the efficiency of sharing;fourth,we should rebuild business process,and improve the level of storage smart operation and management;and fifth,we should make innovation in operational patten,and encourage the pilot project.
