Construction of Multi-hub Hybrid Spoke Logistics Network in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

Abstract:The construction of multi-hub hybrid logistics network is of great significance for optimizing network structure, reducing regional logistics costs,and increasing the utility of regional logistic network in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Taking the optimal network cost as the objective,with the help of PCA,and based on the forecast data of Urban Logistics comprehensive development level in 13 cities in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,a multi-hub hybrid hub-and-spoke logistics network model is constructed based on Hub-and-Spoke theory,and the model is simulated by genetic algorithm with the help of MATLAB. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)when the hub node is 3,the construction of Beijing- Tianjin- Hebei regional mixed hubandspoke logistics network has the best regional logistics network cost,and the hub nodes are Langfang,Cangzhou and Baoding respectively;(2)with the increase of the hub node,the network cost of the multi-hub mixed hub-and-spoke logistics network first decreases and then increases,reasonable number of hub nodes can reduce the total cost of the whole network,and there is an optimal solution to the cost of the multi- hub hybrid hub- spoke logistics network;(3)we should comprehensively consider the impact of passing round and discount coefficient on the cost;(4)changing the discount coefficient has a greater impact on the network cost,and has a relatively small impact on the network structure.
