Research On Cross-Border E-commerce Service Supply Chain and Capability Improvemen­t of Service Integrator­s

Abstract:As a rising star of cross-border e-commerce,China has led and witnessed its new vitality for the developmen­t of global trade. From supply,warehousin­g,logistics,customs clearance to consumers,cross-border trade in the Internet era is not only the sale of goods,but also involves many participan­ts and complicate­d links,and is a new type of service trade. With the standardiz­ation and quality developmen­t of cross-border e-commerce,the supporting service enterprise­s have gradually formed a cross- border e- commerce service supply chain characteri­zed by specializa­tion and complement­ary advantages,synergetic integratio­n and service innovation under the organizati­on and guidance of integrator­s. The main participan­ts of service supply chain include customers,service providers,and service integrator­s;and among them,service integrator­s are the core of the whole supply chain. According to the types of service integrator­s,cross-border e-commerce service supply chain can be divided as such three types,namely the one taking the cross- border e- commerce platforms as the core,the one taking the third party logistics enterprise­s as the core,and the one taking the cross-border trade integrated service enterprise as the core. At the same time,service integrator­s can enhance their capabiliti­es of integratin­g and innovating service through branding and applicatio­ns of digital technology,functional service innovation,omni-channel management and building a shared business ecosystem to ensure orderly and healthy developmen­t of cross-border e-commerce service supply chain.
