Research On Cross-Border E-commerce Service Supply Chain and Capability Improvement of Service Integrators

Abstract:As a rising star of cross-border e-commerce,China has led and witnessed its new vitality for the development of global trade. From supply,warehousing,logistics,customs clearance to consumers,cross-border trade in the Internet era is not only the sale of goods,but also involves many participants and complicated links,and is a new type of service trade. With the standardization and quality development of cross-border e-commerce,the supporting service enterprises have gradually formed a cross- border e- commerce service supply chain characterized by specialization and complementary advantages,synergetic integration and service innovation under the organization and guidance of integrators. The main participants of service supply chain include customers,service providers,and service integrators;and among them,service integrators are the core of the whole supply chain. According to the types of service integrators,cross-border e-commerce service supply chain can be divided as such three types,namely the one taking the cross- border e- commerce platforms as the core,the one taking the third party logistics enterprises as the core,and the one taking the cross-border trade integrated service enterprise as the core. At the same time,service integrators can enhance their capabilities of integrating and innovating service through branding and applications of digital technology,functional service innovation,omni-channel management and building a shared business ecosystem to ensure orderly and healthy development of cross-border e-commerce service supply chain.
