Evaluation of China's Foreign Trade High Quality Development under the Background of Sino-US Trade Friction

Abstract：China's economy has changed from high-speed development to high-quality development，which puts forward new requirements for the transformation of China's foreign trade to high-quality development. Sino-US trade frictions also have an impact on the high-quality development of China's foreign trade. Based on the analysis of the internal and external causes of Sino-US trade frictions and their impact on China's foreign trade development，the author constructs the connotation system of high- quality development of China's foreign trade under the background of Sino- US trade frictions based on the theory of national competitive advantage，and uses the structural analysis model based on component data to evaluate the situation of China's foreign trade high- quality development based on the data of 2013- 2018. The results show that：on the whole，the performance of related and supportive industries and industry competition have important effects on the high-quality development of China's foreign trade under the background of Sino- US trade frictions. From the regression coefficient，Sino- US trade frictions，factors of production，and related industrial support have a positive role in promoting the high-quality development of China's foreign trade. However，demand conditions and industry competition have a certain negative impact on the high-quality development of China's foreign trade. Therefore，in the context of Sino-US trade frictions，China's foreign trade should seize the opportunity，strive to enhance international competitiveness，focus on the development of domestic and foreign trade-related and supporting industries to actively promote the high- quality development of China's foreign trade，and at the same time pay attention to the threat of multinational companies flooding into the domestic market to the high-quality development of China's foreign trade.
