Research on the High-quality Development Path of Logistics Industry in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

Abstract：The internal characteristics of high-quality development of logistics are the high level of logistic systematization， the advanced technology，the rational industrial and product structure，and the strong internal driving forces. Some indicators， such as logistic service level，capacity for technological innovation，green development，etc.，can be used to evaluate the development quality of logistics industry. The development quality of the logistics industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is still far from the advanced level of developed countries such as the United States，Japan and Europe. The low development quality of the logistics industry is manifested by high logistics costs，low service levels，low production efficiency， low economic benefits， waste of resources and environmental pollution， etc. The reasons are insufficient technological innovation，underdeveloped and imbalanced tertiary industry，relatively low concentration of logistics industry organization， insufficient application of logistics technology and rising labor costs，low integration level of logistics，weak management technology of logistics organization，the lagged behind development of railway logistics and low customs efficiency. To improve the quality of logistics development in the Guangdong- Hong Kong- Macao Greater Bay Area，we must create a GuangdongHong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area innovation ecosystem，strengthen technological innovation，deepen the development of the tertiary industry，accelerate the concentration of the logistics industry，cultivate leading logistics companies with world-leading levels，and improve the promotion and application of logistics technology. ，To improve the degree of logistics integration，use technology to promote innovation in logistics business models and business formats，improve the organizational technology of global supply chains，vigorously promote the reform of railway logistics systems，increase customs reform efforts，and develop green logistics.
