Study on the Agglomeration Development of Hainan Tourism Industry from the Perspective of Free Trade Port

Abstract：From the perspective of free trade port，the author evaluates and judges the development status of Hainan tourism agglomeration scientifically and objectively，and explores the various factors having effect on the development of Hainan tourism cluster.Based on the evaluation of the development level of Hainan tourism agglomeration，the author calculates and compares the location entropy value of Hainan and other provinces and cities，which is characterized as the development level of tourism agglomeration，and carry out the empirical analysis on factors havingeffect on the development of Hainan tourism agglomeration by using the punishment regression model. It is found that，comparing to other provinces and cities，the agglomeration level of Hainan tourism industry is not high enough，and the agglomeration advantage of Hainan tourism industryis not obvious. The main factors affecting the agglomeration level of Hainan tourism industry are the scale of domestic tourists and the scale of Hainan tourism facilities，especially facilities that reaching a certain level；comparing to domestic newly-builtfirst-class scenic spots， there are still problems of small scale and low quality with the newly-built or newly evaluated A-level scenic spots in Hainan， even if they are rated asabove 4A level. And the lack of core attraction in accelerating agglomeration development weakens the attraction of Hainan tourism industry.Under the background of building a free trade port，to promote the agglomeration development of Hainan tourism industry，we should accelerate the system and policy innovation，speed up the formation of the first-class business environment urgently needed by the construction of an international tourism consumption center，create more attractions and improve the quality and upgrade the existing ones，improve the construction of supporting facilities for the existingattractions，accelerate infrastructure construction that is urgently needed，further clarify the key direction of this development，correctly identify the key to accelerate this development，and accelerate the economic construction of Hainan Tourism Industrial Park headquarters.
