Research on Measuring the Integration of Digital Economy Industry and Manufacturing Industry
——Based on the Perspective of Input-Output

Abstract:Based on the“Statistical Classification of Digital Economy and Its Core Industries”published by the Bureau of Statistics in 2021,the digital economy industries are divided into digital product manufacturing ,digital factor-driven industries, digital product services,and digital technology application industries. Furthermore,based on the input-output method,from the perspective of integration contribution and integration interaction ,the authors construct direct integration degree,comprehensive integration degree and improved integration interaction index to measure the integration of digital economy industry and manufacturing industry. The calculation results show that: from the perspective of the digital economy as a whole ,the degree of direct integration is directly proportional to the degree of manufacturing technology intensity; the degree of comprehensive integration presents characteristics consistent with the degree of direct integration ,but the value is much higher,which shows that the indirect contribution of the digital economy industry to manufacturing production is very large; and at the same time ,the digital economy industry has a stronger fundamental role in promoting the development of the manufacturing industry. From the perspective of the digital economy classification,the direct integration and integration interaction between digital product manufacturing and high-tech manufacturing are the highest ,the direct integration with low-technology-intensive manufacturing is low,and the pulling effect is not obvious,while driving effect is more obvious; the direct integration and integration interaction between the digital drive industry and all manufacturing industries are relatively high; the direct integration between the digital product service industry and all manufacturing industries is relatively large ,but there is a certain asymmetry in the interaction; and he degree of direct integration and integration interaction between the technology application industry and all manufacturing industries is the lowest,and there are obstacles to industrial integration. Based on the differences in the degree of integration contribution and the direction and intensity of interaction,we should give priority to the development of digital product manufacturing industry and targeted digital product service industry; and based on strengthening the construction of information infrastructure,we should improve the popularity and innovation level of digital technology in different manufacturing industries to realize the service- and intelligent-oriented transformation of the manufacturing industry.
