The Effect of Social Technologies Innovation on the Sustainable Development of China’s Overseas Industrial Parks
——the Moderating Role of Host-Country Institutional Context
（1.Business School，University of International Business and Economic，Beijing 100029，China；2.Business Administration School，Hebei Normal University of Science & Technology，Qinhuangdao 066004，Hebei，China） Abstract：China’s overseas industrial park is an important fulcrum of China’s Belt and Road Initiative，the important node in global and regional value chain，and an important platform for China's overseas innovation ecosystem. The transformation of international production system and the reconstruction of global value chain ，the new industrial revolution and the transformation and upgrading of the digital economy，and the 2030 agenda for sustainable development have become the benchmarks and norms of global governance，and brought challenges to the sustainable development of China's overseas industrial parks. Taking hostcountry institutional context as the moderating variable ，the authors construct the theoretical model of the relationship between social technologies innovation and the sustainable development of China’s overseas industrial parks. By conducting 543 questionnaire surveys of 52 China’s overseas industrial parks from 24 countries all over the world，the empirical research shows that：social technologies innovation has a positive effect on the sustainable development of China’s overseas industrial parks from three aspects，such as business model innovation，institutional innovation and cultural embeddedness innovation ；the hostcountry institutional context positively moderates the relationship between business model innovation ，cultural embeddedness innovation and the sustainable development of China’s overseas industrial parks，and it negatively moderates the relationship between institutional innovation and the sustainable development of China’s overseas industrial parks. To realize the sustainable development of China's overseas industrial parks，we should pay attention not only to scientific technologies innovation ，but also to social technologies innovation and their coupling development. At the same time ，the path of social technologies innovation should be adjusted flexibly according to the changes of host-country institutional context.
