Digital Transformation Planning and Implementation Path of Large Supply Chain Enterprises

Abstract:The rapid development of digital technology has promoted the rapid growth of digital economy. Digital transformation has become a major strategy to promote the deep integration of digital economy and real economy. It is the general trend for enterprises to improve quality,efficiency and innovative development through digital transformation. Based on the annual reports of listed companies and key words of enterprise digital transformation publicly disclosed in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets,the authors use web crawler technology to capture relevant data and information to explore the current situation of digital transformation of large supply chain enterprises. It is found that the difficulties and pain points of the current digital transformation of China's large supply chain enterprises mainly lie in five aspects :first,the overall strategy is unclear,resulting in the lack of systematicness in the transformation ;second,the service ability is not strong,resulting in the lack of competitiveness in the transformation;third,the data quality is not high,resulting in the lack of efficiency in the transformation; fourth,the value mining is not deep,resulting in the lack of scientific in the transformation ;and fifth,the lack of model innovation leads to the lack of sustainability in the transformation. In order to successfully realize digital transformation and business model upgrading,large supply chain enterprises should follow five general principles :first,strategic orientation and structure control;second,data empowerment and fine service;third,standard first and efficient supply;fourth,focus on the future and advance moderately;and fifth,innovation driving and leading development. Starting from the three aspects of lean management support,excellent operation empowerment and digital intelligence business incubation ,taking business digitization as the starting point,we use advanced digital technology to realize management intelligence ,and promote the transformation and upgrading of functional management and control system of large supply chain enterprises and business operation capability of subsidiaries through data life cycle management and enabling application ,so as to finally realize digital business. Specifically, we should,first,focus on group management and control and business application digitization ,and promote scientific implementation as a whole;second,we should strengthen the digital construction of customer service and management ,and improve the market competitiveness;third,we should strengthen the construction of data standards and the accumulation of data resources,and improve the data quality by relying on the key technologies of data governance ;fourth,we should improve the digital operation ability and realize the data enabled business operation through data value mining ;and fifth,we should enhance the ability of business model innovation and actively explore sustainable growth points of digital products or services.
