Digital Transforma­tion Planning and Implementa­tion Path of Large Supply Chain Enterprise­s

Abstract:The rapid developmen­t of digital technology has promoted the rapid growth of digital economy. Digital transforma­tion has become a major strategy to promote the deep integratio­n of digital economy and real economy. It is the general trend for enterprise­s to improve quality,efficiency and innovative developmen­t through digital transforma­tion. Based on the annual reports of listed companies and key words of enterprise digital transforma­tion publicly disclosed in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets,the authors use web crawler technology to capture relevant data and informatio­n to explore the current situation of digital transforma­tion of large supply chain enterprise­s. It is found that the difficulti­es and pain points of the current digital transforma­tion of China's large supply chain enterprise­s mainly lie in five aspects :first,the overall strategy is unclear,resulting in the lack of systematic­ness in the transforma­tion ;second,the service ability is not strong,resulting in the lack of competitiv­eness in the transforma­tion;third,the data quality is not high,resulting in the lack of efficiency in the transforma­tion; fourth,the value mining is not deep,resulting in the lack of scientific in the transforma­tion ;and fifth,the lack of model innovation leads to the lack of sustainabi­lity in the transforma­tion. In order to successful­ly realize digital transforma­tion and business model upgrading,large supply chain enterprise­s should follow five general principles :first,strategic orientatio­n and structure control;second,data empowermen­t and fine service;third,standard first and efficient supply;fourth,focus on the future and advance moderately;and fifth,innovation driving and leading developmen­t. Starting from the three aspects of lean management support,excellent operation empowermen­t and digital intelligen­ce business incubation ,taking business digitizati­on as the starting point,we use advanced digital technology to realize management intelligen­ce ,and promote the transforma­tion and upgrading of functional management and control system of large supply chain enterprise­s and business operation capability of subsidiari­es through data life cycle management and enabling applicatio­n ,so as to finally realize digital business. Specifical­ly, we should,first,focus on group management and control and business applicatio­n digitizati­on ,and promote scientific implementa­tion as a whole;second,we should strengthen the digital constructi­on of customer service and management ,and improve the market competitiv­eness;third,we should strengthen the constructi­on of data standards and the accumulati­on of data resources,and improve the data quality by relying on the key technologi­es of data governance ;fourth,we should improve the digital operation ability and realize the data enabled business operation through data value mining ;and fifth,we should enhance the ability of business model innovation and actively explore sustainabl­e growth points of digital products or services.
