Digital Finance，Green Innovation and Urban Economic Resilience

Abstract：Under the new development pattern，enhancing the resilience of the urban economic system to deal with external shocks is the key to promoting the steady growth of the urban economy and helping high- quality development. Based on theoretical analysis，using the panel data of 283 cities in China from 2015 to 2020，this paper empirically explores the nonlinear relationship between digital finance，green innovation and urban economic resilience using the benchmark model and VAR model. The research shows that digital finance，green innovation and their interaction have a significant positive impact on urban economic resilience，and this result is still valid after a series of robustness tests. There is heterogeneity in the impact of digital finance，green innovation and their interaction on urban economic resilience. Specifically ，digital finance，green innovation and their interaction have a stronger promoting effect on economic resilience of eastern coastal cities ，central cities，national innovative pilot cities and big data pilot cities. From a short- term perspective ，digital finance and green innovation can have a significant positive impact on urban economic resilience ；From a long-term perspective，the promotion of digital finance，green innovation and their interaction on urban economic resilience has gradually weakened and converged to zero after reaching its peak. It is necessary to promote the deep integration of digital finance and green innovation ，formulate differentiated development strategies，building a long-term mechanism for the impact of digital finance and green innovation are expected to contribute to the resilient growth of urban economies.
