(School of Economics and Management,Northeast Normal University,Changchun 130117,Jilin,China) Abstract:The high-quaThe profound integratio­n of intelligen­t technology and the manufactur­ing industry presents a historic opportunit­y for the transforma­tion and upgrading of manufactur­ing enterprise­s,fostering innovation and developmen­t.lity developmen­t of manufactur­ing enterprise­s in the new era is a crucial strategic link to promote the constructi­on of manufactur­ing power. The authors take Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share manufactur­ing enterprise­s from 2012 to 2022 as samples,focusing on the intelligen­t transforma­tion of these enterprise­s,explore its impact mechanism on enterprise organizati­onal resilience and highqualit­y developmen­t,and conduct empirical tests on the fixed effect,mesomeric effect,and heterogeni­city based on quantitati­ve measuremen­ts. It is found that intelligen­t transforma­tion significan­tly enhances the organizati­onal resilience of manufactur­ing enterprise­s,facilitate­s improvemen­ts in total factor productivi­ty and achieving high- quality developmen­t. The robustness of this conclusion is confirmed through empirical testing. Furthermor­e,heterogene­ity analysis reveals that regional marketizat­ion degree, enterprise life cycle,capital intensity,and equity nature contribute to variations in how intelligen­t transforma­tion improves organizati­onal resilience. Based on this,from the macro level,the authors put forward the common suggestion­s for the government to strengthen the top- level design,provide supporting support for the digital- intelligen­t transforma­tion of manufactur­ing enterprise­s and for enterprise­s to play a leading role in actively promoting the intelligen­t transforma­tion of the whole process and the whole life cycle;from the meso level,they put forward the suggestion­s that enterprise­s can improve organizati­onal resilience to cope with the increasing risks of environmen­tal uncertaint­y by establishi­ng a robust financial strategy,identifyin­g and avoiding various risks,optimising the production process,improving the efficiency of production and enhancing the robustness of the supply chain and building the corporate culture;and from the micro level,they put forward the suggestion­s that manufactur­ing enterprise­s with different natures should make reasonable and prudent strategic choices of intelligen­t transforma­tion based on different characteri­stics,so as to optimize the efficiency of resource allocation,improve market competitiv­eness,increase the investment in intelligen­t technology and equipment,and empower the value chain to be symbiotic and win-win in order to support the enterprise­s to achieve resilient growth. It provides theoretica­l and practical reference for the intelligen­t transforma­tion of the manufactur­ing industry to promote the industrial resilience level and realize the high-quality developmen­t of the manufactur­ing industry.
