Education project to tackle poverty
PSBC Consumer Finance launched an education project in the Tibet autonomous region to reduce poverty in the area in September. During the weeklong event, 12 volunteers from around the country traveled to the region to deliver tutorials and workshops on various subjects to local children. Luo Zhian, who sits on the board of supervisors of PSBC Consumer Finance, said education is needed to eliminate poverty, but the key to educating the next generation is to encourage them to study. He called for companies and institutions to take part to fight against poverty.
