Hid­den Tapestries — Myths of Cre­ation, car­ries com­prises seven chap­ters and is based on a sto­ry­line cre­ated by Chen Q Qinzhi. Chen said that the pro­duc­tion’s tib nar­ra­tive was in­spired by the struc­ture of an an­cient C Chi­nese poem ti­tled Heav­enly Ques­tions ( Tian Wen) by Qu Yuan (340-278 BC) in w which a char­ac­ter named Q Qu Yuan was ban­ished from the court af­ter los­ing the fa­vor of the Kin King of Chu. While in ex­ile, Qu vis­ited the an­ces­tral tral templ tem­ple of Chu where he came across the var­i­ous scenes de­picted on the mu­rals mu­rals. He then wrote his ques­tions tions to He Heaven upon these walls. Ac­cordin Ac­cord­ing to Chen, this long poem con­sists of more than 170 ques­tions that in­volv in­volve al­most all the sto­ries in Chi­nese m mythol­ogy.
