Beijing’s per-capita income increases
China’s capital Beijing’s gross regional domestic product growth between January and September was 6.7 percent yearon-year, the municipal bureau of statistics announced on Monday.
Data showed the city’s GDP in the first three quarters of 2018 was about $310 billion.
The growth was 0.1 percentage points lower than it was during the first half of the year, according to the bureau.
Fang Xiaodan, spokesperson for the Beijing investigation team under the National Bureau of Statistics, said the per-capita disposable income in Beijing for the first nine months increased 8.9 percent year-on-year, a result of multiple preferential policies carried out by the municipal government.
