South Korea sees increase in real GDP
South Korea’s real GDP adjusted for inflation, grew 0.6 percent in the JulySeptember quarter from the previous quarter, central bank data showed. It was identical with the second quarter, after expanding 1 percent in the first quarter, according to the Bank of Korea. Facility investment declined 4.4 percent in the third quarter from three months earlier on weak demand for machinery. It was up from a 5.7 percent reduction in the second quarter.
