Pre­mier to meet in­sti­tu­tion heads

Pre­mier Li Ke­qiang will hold a round­table di­a­logue with the chiefs of six ma­jor in­ter­na­tional eco­nomic and fi­nan­cial in­sti­tu­tions for the third time on Nov 6 in Bei­jing, For­eign Min­istry spokesman Lu Kang an­nounced on Oct 30. They will dis­cuss is­sues in­clud­ing trends in the global econ­omy, the up­hold­ing of the mul­ti­lat­eral trad­ing sys­tem, China’s econ­omy and its re­form and open­ing-up. Jim Yong Kim, pres­i­dent of the World Bank; Chris­tine La­garde, manag­ing di­rec­tor of the In­ter­na­tional Mon­e­tary Fund; and Roberto Azevedo, di­rec­tor-gen­eral of the World Trade Or­ga­ni­za­tion are among the chiefs who will at­tend the di­a­logue.
