X-rays banned at security checks

The Ministry of Environmental Protection has banned the widespread use of X-rays for security checks in public places in response to recent controversies at some train stations and airports in Sichuan province. Some train stations, such as those in Chengdu and Mianyang, have exposed the public to X-rays during security checks without notifying passengers in advance, causing health concerns.
