Govt to release report on poverty reduction

The annual Report on Poverty Reduction of China, also known as the Blue Book of Poverty Reduction, will be issued on Tuesday. Following its release, a high-level forum will be held on the same day in Beijing. Organized by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, the forum will focus on China’s experience on fighting poverty. It will also discuss the related policies raised in the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20).
