Imported vehicles gaining traction

Imported car sales in South Korea maintained doubledigit growth last month on demand for German luxury vehicles, industry data showed. The number of newly registered imported vehicles was 20,518 in July, up 16.4 percent from the same month of last year, according to the Korea Automobile Importers & Distributors Association. During the January-July period, the number of foreign cars sold was 160,627, up 18.3 percent compared with the same period of last year.
