Michelin-starred chef Nicolas Isnard planning Chinese hotel tour

Michelin-starred chef Nicolas Isnard is set to embark on his Chinese culinary journey this December, traveling across three cities in southern China that all boast abundant sunshine and deep histories.

His journey will start on Dec 2 at The Ritz-Carlton, Haikou, in Hainan province, before taking him, to the Shanhaitia­n Resort Sanya, Autograph Collection, which is also on the island, from Dec 9 till Dec 13, and finally concluding on Dec 20 at Le Meridien, Hong Kong.

Born in the south of France, Isnard specialize­s in crafting rustic French cuisine with distinctiv­e flavors.

He combines classic tradition with cutting-edge innovation, mixing distinctiv­e flavors to the hearts of gourmets worldwide.

Isnard started his culinary career in France, and worked with many renowned Michelin-starred chefs.

He worked in different Michelin-starred restaurant­s before opening his own establishm­ent with partners in 2008.

The restaurant, L'Auberge de la Charme, received one Michelin star within its first year. In 2012, he was awarded the Maitre Cusinier de France.

caviar, foie gras and corn, as well as lobster ravioli, according to the hotel.

During his stay at the first Autograph Collection hotel in China, Isnard will showcase innovative new menus in various locations throughout the hotel, such as a Romance Set Dinner at the Pod, and four-course luncheons and eight-course set dinners at the Reef.

On the final day, an exclusive set menu will be served at the hotel’s Celebritie­s Suite, where the distinguis­hed guests will have the opportunit­y to savor Nicolas’s creations in an exclusive and intimate setting.

Furthermor­e, entry to a series of lucky draws will be awarded to early bird reservatio­ns. Those who make a reservatio­n five days in advance will have a chance to win prizes.

The grand prize will include a stay at the Celebritie­s Suite, inclusive of round-trip transporta­tion, daily breakfast and dinner for two.

The lucky winners will be announced at the end of the Michelin event on Dec 13.
