City builds home­s­tays as expo draws near

About 200 home­style ac­com­mo­da­tions, or home­s­tays, will be ready to re­ceive global vis­i­tors in Bei­jing’s Yan­qing district, where an in­ter­na­tional hor­ti­cul­tural expo will be held from April to Oc­to­ber. Au­thor­i­ties in the district are prepar­ing a batch of “medium and high-end” home­s­tays to boost its host­ing abil­ity, said Zheng Ai­juan of Yan­qing’s tourism com­mis­sion. Be­sides the home­s­tays, many star­rated ho­tels are also un­der con­struc­tion, Zheng said.
