New luxury suites revealed after extensive face-lift
After a three-year upgrade project, China World Hotel, Beijing unveiled 126 refurbished Horizon Club rooms and suites to provide guests with better experiences.
Guests of the Horizon Club enjoy privileges and benefits, such as a separate hotel entrance, a selection of juices, Americanstyle buffet breakfast and evening cocktails.
The rooms are decorated with marble and granite table tops, handcrafted antique brass and crystal light fixtures.
There is a multifunctional charger at the head of the bed and Bluetooth for music. Indoor fitness and relaxation facilities are also available.
Located in the Central Business District of Beijing, the hotel has played host to many officials and businesspeople, as well as major conferences and international events since it opened in 1990.
Each of the upgraded luxury rooms and suites enjoys vistas of modern buildings in the CBD or a street view of Beijing’s Third Ring Road, feeling the pulse of this vibrant city, said Stephan Kapek, area manager of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and general manager of China World Hotel, Beijing, at a client appreciation party held earlier this week.
The hotel will also offer a new menu of food and beverages. Summer Palace, its signature Chinese restaurant, provides Cantonesestyle roast duck. Another restaurant, which promotes a healthy lifestyle, will launch soon, according to Kapek.
From Jan 25 to Feb 17, guests who book Horizon Club rooms and suites at the best available rate for two nights will earn the third night as a reward. Bookings can be made via Shangri-La’s official website and app.
